Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are valid for our members of the DBDCompNet Services. Natural persons that have no affiliation or relationship towards our members or users of the DBDCompNet with no affiliation or relationship status (intern) towards our members are not subject to these terms.

A. SCOPE OF TERMS AND VALIDITY OF THE GENERAL TERMS

These Terms of Service - further referred to as "Terms" - are valid to all member parties of the DBDCompNet, when using the services of the DBDCompNet. When in possession of a DBDCompNet Administration Account ("Admin Account") these terms apply. You understand, acknowledge and agree that these terms always apply to you when in possession of an Admin Account or when being a member - represented by you as a natural person - of the DBDCompNet.

Our General Terms of Service are valid to you by default, as they're a requirement when accessing our services. The General Terms of Service are always and at any time higher than the additional terms and cannot be replaced by any article of these terms.

B. DBDCOMPNET ADMINISTRATION ACCOUNT

To access intern services and manage your players you are required to obtain an Admin Account ("AAccount") - also known as DBDCompNet Administration Account. This Account is created and managed for you by our management.

Only legal entities including non-profit organizations and/or not required to pay tax companies are permitted to create a DBDCompNet Administration Account, this includes communities that run competitive events for Dead by Daylight and are not an organization or a legal entity. - To keep it simple, we only use the terms organization or company, but we mean all communities as well. - (However, this account can only be requested to be created, as only our management can create it for you - it's still referred to as your creation). To open your Account, personal - organization / company - information is required. You need an email address, a membership status (Access Agreement) from the DBDCompNet. You need a Discord Server and a Discord Server ID from your official organization. To create your account, you must be the owner and/or administrator of the organization or someone with the permission to manage the organization on the same level as a CEO. You understand, acknowledge and agree that all this information you provide is accurate and when found inaccurate that we can suspend your account until accurate information is provided.

The DBDCompNet Administration Account is not a management account from the DBDCompNet Management and therefore has no protection from suspensions or termination according to our General Terms of Service section G.

The owner of a DBDCompNet Administration Account can only be a natural person. The natural person must be an account requester and organization owner and/or administrator at the same time.

To create the account, you must send a request to service@dbdcompnet.com and provide all information required. You understand, acknowledge and agree by sending your request that our data clause in the General Terms of Service and that these additional terms apply.

C. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

You may terminate your account at any time for any reason or without any reason. When terminating your account, we will process all your data that we have collected back to you, meaning you get a full detailed list of the data we used, stored and collected and the purpose of our action. When you agree to data and account deletion you will be permanently suspended and your account deleted. You understand, acknowledge and agree that you have the right to terminate your account with us at any time with any reason or without a reason at all. You understand, acknowledge and agree that by terminating and finalizing your deletion process, you instantly lose access to the DBDCompNet and your account. When terminated you're no longer subject to our General Terms of Service or any other regulations.

We may at any time, with the reason of you disobeying rules, regulations or terms of our services, terminate (permanently) or suspend (temporarily) your account with us. You will be informed via email about the termination or suspension. When terminated we will also process all your data back to you and confirm the deletion from our side. Your data will then be deleted from our services, servers or networks. (Does not apply to posts you possibly made on forum pages, team notes and global organization posts.) You understand, acknowledge and agree that, by violating our service terms of service, regulations, guidelines or rules, we can terminate or suspend your account permanently or temporarily (with chance of appeal) and inform you about our decision by email. You also understand, acknowledge and agree that posts you made on our platform via forum, team notes or global organization posts will not be deleted as they do not contain personal information that is required to be removed. (Art. 17 GDPR - also: Art. 5 section 1 letter e GDPR)

D. DBDCOMPNET ORGANIZATION NETWORK

The DBDCompNet. provides a web-interface service to manage players and teams, events and tournaments for competitive Dead by Daylight (Esports). Members have access to our web-interface services in the form of webpages under the dbdcompnet.com domain in sub-domains (example: example.dbdcompnet.com). These domains are provided and maintained by the DBDCompNet Management without any service-fee for members or users. The usage of the DBDCompNet is free of charge. (Excluding your own internet fees etc.)

To receive such a web-interface you need to have an ongoing membership or Access Agreement with the DBDCompNet Management and a DBDCompNet Administration Account.

The web-interface or webpage is managed and administered by the DBDCompNet Development Team and the DBDCompNet Management Team. To contact the Development- & Support-Team, refer to our Support Discord.

COPYRIGHT AND LEGAL OWNERSHIP IS SUBJECT TO THE DBDCompNet Management AND IS NOT GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE WEBPAGES OR INTERFACES. ALL CREDIT IS GIVEN TO THE DBDCompNet Management. HOWEVER, UNDER MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT, THE WEBPAGE IS OWNED AND COPYRIGHTED, DESPITE THE LEGAL OWNERSHIP FACTOR, UNDER THE MEMBER ORGANIZATION. NAME, BADGE AND STRUCTURE OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE COPYRIGHT SUBJECT TO THE LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OF ITS ORGANIZATION. DBDCompNet DOES NOT CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF THOSE.

You understand, acknowledge and accept, that the webpages and the web-interface are owned, managed and administered by the DBDCompNet Development Team and the DBDCompNet Management. You understand, acknowledge and agree, that by using our platform, you do not gain any legal rights over the website. You agree, acknowledge and understand that we do not charge you fees to use the DBDCompNet.

E. PRIVACY POLICY

Users of the DBDCompNet. may interact with us and give us information about (i) match results, (ii) personal information (privacy policy applies), (iii) registered organizations, (iv) registered suspensions, (v) registered players and their information & (vi) contact information. This information underlies the privacy policy in our general terms, you may use - (usage is described in our general terms) - this information, as agreed to by users. By using information from users, from our website, you agree to the General Data Protection Regulations by the European Union. You agree, acknowledge and understand that you are allowed to use the information provided by users for the purposes mentioned in our general privacy policy. You agree, acknowledge and understand that you are subjected to follow regional privacy laws and procedures, depending on where your organization was created.

Organizations may upload and advertise their events on our dbdcompnet.com main page. These events are published by the organizer. You agree, acknowledge and understand that by publishing your events on the DBDCompNet, it is visible to not only selected players, but can only be registered for when the user has an Account.

F. PAID SERVICES TERMS

The DBDCompNet is not a platform to make sales or hire employees. You are not allowed to sell Goods (or Virtual Goods) on the DBDCompNet.

You agree, acknowledge and understand that the DBDCompNet is not a marketplace and that sales are not allowed.
