Welcome to the Community Standards ("Policy") of the DBDCompNet. This Policy exists to set standards in communication and interaction between users of our Services.
1. Scope and Services
1.1 Scope of Policy
This applies when you ("user") use our Services (defined below) offered by the DBDCompNet or any of its affiliates or partners (referred to as "we", "our"), unless an affiliate has published their own community policy.
The terms of this policy together with our Terms of Service applies to your use of the Services. In certain circumstances, we may provide additional privacy-related information. This policy supplements such other notices.
1.2 Definition of Services
This Policy gives you information on our Community Standards and communication between users of our DBDCompNet., Discord Server, email, support, tournaments, DBDCompNet Awards and streaming and video channels ("Services").
2. Safety
We want our community to stay safe and protected. These following guidelines help enforce safety by our users.
2.1 Children
Any form of abuse towards children on any of our Services is extremely and very strictly prohibited. Children are all individuals under the age of 18. Abuse towards children is, but is not limited to:
- explaining explicit fantasies about children or actual events in which children their innocence is exploited,
- disclosing inappropriate events with children or planning for such to be executed,
- asking children for any form of personal information or sharing such information with others,
- other predatory behaviour,
- threatening children in any form, especially to do something inappropriate for one,
- sharing media or other documentation about children, including face censored media,
- talking towards children in a suggestive way or making children talk in a suggestive way and joining them
Children, on purpose may others break these rules will be handled as prescribed in our terms. Children are always innocent unless they force others to break these rules. Children under the age of 13+ on Discord will be banned. Children under the age of 16+ on the DBDCompNet will be suspended even if prior consent by their legal guardian was provided.
2.2 Terrorism and Extremism
Terroristic behaviour, including threatening others and causing an extremist or terroristic environment is forbidden. We have a zero-tolerance policy for content or behaviour that incites, condones, supports, glorifies, or promotes any terrorist or extremist organization or individual (foreign or domestic), and their ideology, or actions, including:
- Depictions of or support for terrorist or extremist attacks
- Depictions of or support for the leaders or representatives of terrorist or extremist organizations
- Sharing the slogans, images, flags, manifestos, or icons of terrorist or extremist organizations, either in whole or in readily identifiable part
- References to the ideologies, messages, or strategies of terrorist and extremist organizations
- Expressing support, condoning, or glorifying terrorist extremist ideologies or actions
- Recruiting membership for a terrorist or extremist organization, or encouraging others to leave Roblox to find such information
- Fundraising for terrorist or extremist organizations, people, or supporting groups
- Expressing support, condoning, or glorifying mass shootings and other acts of domestic terrorism or violent extremism
2.3 Bullying
Bullying other members using our services to achieve any form of pain – mentally or physically – also including not trying to cause any harm, is strictly prohibited. We have a zero-tolerance policy for threatening others with real-world or online harm, inciting violence against people or property, bullying, stalking, trolling, harassment, intimidation, extortion, and blackmail. We also do not allow any content that depicts, glorifies, encourages, promotes, or provides instructions for such behaviour, including:
- Threatening physical or sexual assault or violence
- Threatening to harm someone in real life
- Revealing or threatening to reveal others’ personal information
- Threatening to take over another’s account or to file false abuse reports against another user
- Singling out a user or group for ridicule, abuse, humiliation, or degradation, either publicly or privately, including as part of a targeted mistreatment campaign
- Sexual harassment
- Impersonating individuals, groups, or entities, in ways that may damage their reputation or cause others to harm them, either online or in real life
- Shaming or stigmatising body types or physical features
2.4 Suicide or Self-Harm
We take our users’ well-being very seriously. We’re here to help provide resources for those struggling with mental health, and we reserve the right to communicate with authorities regarding credible threats of self-harm. We do not allow content or behaviour that depicts, glorifies, promotes, or encourages suicide, self-injury, eating disorders, or real-world activities that may create a serious or extreme risk of physical harm including:
- Providing instructions related to, or details of, methods for suicide or self-harm. This includes content that promotes ingestion of substances that would cause physical harm
- Content that glorifies, supports, or depicts instances or methods of suicide or self-harm
- Content that encourages depression, hopelessness and despair by portraying such feelings as aspirational or desirable
- Discouraging others from seeking the help they need to overcome feelings of depression and hopelessness
- Dangerous physical challenges or stunts in the real world

2.5 Discrimination
The DBDCompNet is no place for discrimination and so on does not condone it. Discrimination has many faces, for example we do not allow discrimination based on:
- Age
- Race, perceived race, or ethnicity
- National origin
- Sexual orientation
- Gender, gender identity, or gender expression
- Religion or religious affiliation or beliefs
- Disability status including diseases, bodily conditions, disfigurement, mobility issues, and mental impairment
- Veteran status
- Caste
- Familial status
This list does not exclude anything that another user may find as discrimination and that can also be enforced.
3. Off-Limits
The DBDCompNet is no place for anything outside of Dead by Daylight or its Services.
3.1 Politics
You may not discuss current, past for bound to happen future political events. Political views can open doors to discrimination or controversial conversations.
3.2 Romance and Sexual Content
The DBDCompNet is not a dating platform nor a platform to share sexual content between users and others. We do not allow content as follows:
- Romantic or flirtatious gestures or communication between users in a romantic context.
- Pursuing or soliciting romantic relationships online.
- Engaging in unwanted romantic or flirtatious behaviour.
- Engaging in sexually explicit conversations or soliciting material from other users.
- Content or behaviour that depicts, implies, or explicitly describes sexual acts.
- Nudity, partial nudity or other content produced for sexual arousal.
- Sexually suggestive content or behaviour, including but not limited to: profile pictures, biography, status, display-name, username, banners and emotes such as stickers.
Your private or public relationships are to be excluded from the Services.
3.3 Illegal goods and activity
We do not allow you to discuss, disclose, share, sell or shop illegal goods or engage, imply or include others in illegal activities. Illegal goods and illegal activity are as follows:
- Illegal, by state law or by international standards, drugs.
- Pharmaceutical products as well as alcohol, tobacco, vaping, and their associated paraphernalia.
- Dietary supplements and enhancers such as weight loss pills and steroids.
- Depiction of intoxicated behaviour associated with consuming alcohol or drugs.
- Bomb or explosive and weapon-making instructions or schematics in the real world.
- Planning real terrorism or executing it.

3.4 Profanity
We allow limited usage of profanity in the form of swearing but not insulting. Do not:
- try and evade automatically blocked words or
- upload audio in which blocked profanity is used.
Dead by Daylight is a platform for the age of 18+, we know that not all follow that and it may include teens from 16+.
3.5 Violent Content and Gore
Dead by Daylight is a horror game which includes violent scenes (e.g. Death by Hand or Mori) however, we do not allow:
- violence outside of Dead by Daylight,
- real world violence and gore, including but not limited to actual murder cases etc.,
- glorifying, disclosing and sharing animal violence and abuse or
- fictional character, outside of Dead by Daylight, violence and torture.
4. Integrity
4.1 Cheats and scams
Advertising, disclosing, sharing and allowing cheats and other third-party modifications or scam, which are either forbidden by law or guidelines of Dead by Daylight, are prohibited.
Users of the Services are obligated and asked to report such behaviour in an instant. Rewards for reports are not provided as it helps us keep platforms and Dead by Daylight safe.
4.2 Spam
We do not allow disrupting or misleading others on our platform. This includes as follows:
- Mentioning one or several users more than once within,
- Mentioning more than 5 users in one message within 10 minutes.
- Repeating messages within a short amount of time or sending the message similar but in a new style or setup.
- Creating posts to direct users off the Services.
4.3 Intellectual Property
We expect all users to respect intellectual property by others and will remove infringing content upon receiving a valid copyright or takedown request from the rights-holder. Examples of intellectual property violations may include:
- Using another organization’s ruleset published on our Services or publishing those on our Services without direct consent by the rights holder.
- Using another artist’s media in your profile or posts without direct consent or submission.
- Using brand logos or designs for the content you create without their permission.
Behaviour Interactive has the copyright rights to the Dead by Daylight logo used in our media and possible others. The usage of their media is allowed under their Terms of Use in section V as long as compliant with those. On request, we will take the DBDCompNet or any media down, this includes but not limited to user creations and content.
4.4 Usage guidelines
Users and others may use our logo in marketing material, if compliant with the Behaviour Interactive Terms of Use section V.
5. Advertisement
Advertisement for third parties that are not associated with the DBDCompNet, or its Services is not allowed unless stated otherwise.
You may advertise for DBDCompNet members and Services.
6. Security
Your personal safety is extremely important to us. Please take this section seriously and follow it and all other sections of this policy at all times.
6.1 Sharing Personal Information
Users are strictly prohibited from sharing personal information on our Services. This rule ensures safety and security of all individuals. Requesting personal information is also forbidden. Personal information includes:
- Email address
- Passwords or access tokens
- Home address or physical location
- Financial information including credit cards and bank account details
- Medical information
- Telephone number
- Internet Identifiers such as usernames or handles not linked to the Services
- Sensitive credentials such as social security number
- Visuals or audio media of themselves or non-public figures
- Full legal names
6.2 Directing Users Off-Platform
When using the Services you may not include links that lead off the platform of our Services.
Allowed links are:
- links on the dbdcompnet.com,
- links on the bhvr.com domain and
- links on the deadbydaylight.com domain.
7. Misusing Automatic Systems
The DBD Comp Union may enforce an automatic detection system to detect and moderate misconduct automatically.
7.1 Evading Safety and Security Systems
- Hiding violating assets,
- Creating or using an account to avoid moderation enforcements,
- Using VPNs to change your location and to use the Services despite them being banned in your location,
- Offering access to your Services accounts or using access to another person's account.
- Using bots to break rules, spam or issue crashes of services, including but not limited to raiding,
- Screaming or uncomfortable sounds or
- Falsely reporting users.
